In the fourth and final quarter-final of the mega event played at the Albeit Stadium, France defeated England by 2 goals to 1 and knocked them out of the event.

On behalf of France, Aurelian Tishomini scored the first goal in the 17th minute to give the team the lead, which was equalized by England captain Harry Kane in the 54th minute on a penalty.

Olivier Giroud scored a goal in the 78th minute to give France a lead that remained until the end of the match.
