Pele, the former star player of the Brazilian football team, is currently in hospital for treatment of cancer, kidney and heart diseases, where his family visited him on Christmas Eve.

According to AFP, Pele’s son, Edinho, has recently been appointed as the coach of the Serie B football club. Like his sisters, he also reached the hospital to visit his father.

He posted a picture on Instagram holding his father’s hand, in which he wrote, “Dad, my strength is yours.”

On Wednesday, hospital authorities announced that Pele’s cancer was improving and he needed further care for heart and kidney problems.

It should be noted that Pele is known by many as a great footballer and after being admitted to the hospital, many people sent him get-well messages, including French footballer Kylian Mbappe. Kylian Mbappe appealed to his fans to pray for his health.
