Football stars Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo will compete in a friendly match this month at the King Fahd Stadium in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
According to the French news agency AFP, this match against Lionel Messi’s football club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) will be played by Ronaldo’s Saudi football club Ansar and its rival club Al-Hilal together on January 19.
Paris Saint-Germain Football Club, commonly referred to as PSG, is a French professional soccer club based in Paris. The club was founded in 1970 and currently competes in Ligue 1, the top tier of French soccer. PSG has become one of the most successful clubs in French soccer history, having won the Ligue 1 title on multiple occasions, as well as the Coupe de France and the Coupe de la Ligue.
The team has also reached the final of the UEFA Champions League, the most prestigious club competition in Europe, multiple times but yet to win it. PSG is known for its star-studded roster and attracts some of the best players in the world, such as Kylian Mbappé, Neymar, and Angel Di Maria. The team plays its home matches at the Parc des Princes, which has a capacity of 48,000 seats.
Kylian Mbappé is a French professional footballer who plays as a forward for Paris Saint-Germain and the French national team. He is considered one of the best young players in the world and has already won multiple individual awards, including the Ligue 1 Player of the Year, the Golden Boy award, and the Kopa Trophy. He also helped lead France to victory in the 2018 FIFA World Cup, becoming the tournament’s youngest goalscorer at 19 years old.
