Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford has honored tennis sensation Novak Djokovic after his recent Australian Open victory. Djokovic defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in straight sets to secure his 22nd Grand Slam title and celebrated by mimicking Rashford’s signature celebration of pointing to his head.

Jofra Archer, Joshua Kimmich and Danny Welbeck are among the many athletes who have followed suit and started to adopt the celebration popularized by the Three Lions player.

Marcus Rashford is having a strong run under manager Erik ten Hag, scoring 18 goals in 30 matches so far. Last season, Rashford only managed 5 goals across all competitions, but he is thriving under the Dutch coach.

He will look to maintain his form when Manchester United resumes its Premier League play next Saturday against Crystal Palace. However, before then is the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final against Nottingham Forest, and with United already leading by three goals, Rashford may be given a well-deserved break.
