The highly anticipated match between Real Madrid and Real Sociedad ended in a goalless draw, much to the disappointment of the Real Madrid supporters.

Despite dominating the game and having numerous opportunities to secure a win, poor finishing and a remarkable performance by Real Sociedad’s goalkeeper, Alex Remiro, resulted in a frustrating evening for Carlo Ancelotti’s side. Although Real Sociedad also had their chances, they were unable to convert and the match ended 0-0.

The draw means that Real Madrid now fall five points behind Barcelona in the La Liga title race after Xavi’s side won 1-0 against Girona this weekend. Although this is concerning for Real Madrid, there is still a lot of time left in the league season and Ancelotti remains hopeful. He acknowledges that the team needs to improve and start producing results soon.

Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has commented on Barcelona’s 5-point lead in the La Liga title race.

In a recent interview with MARCA, Ancelotti stated that although Barcelona has been performing well, there is still a lot of time left in the season. He acknowledged that the past few weeks have been difficult for Real Madrid, especially after the World Cup break, but believes the team has grown and will improve as the season progresses.

Ancelotti pointed out that Real Madrid’s recent results have been decent, despite not being able to find the final touch in some games. He also mentioned the injury problems the team has faced, but remains optimistic that the team will perform better when all players are available for selection.

In conclusion, Ancelotti believes that Real Madrid still has a chance to catch up to Barcelona in the La Liga title race, and the team will continue to work hard to improve their performance.
