Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is set to take on Montpellier in a Ligue 1 match with the aim of maintaining their lead in the standings. Montpellier, on the other hand, is currently positioned in the lower half of the table with a record of six wins in 20 games played this season.

After a 2-0 victory against Auxerre in their previous game, Montpellier has an opportunity to win consecutive league games for the first time since August 2022.

PSG boasts an impressive record against Montpellier, having won nine out of their last 10 encounters and scoring 37 goals in the process. However, PSG has recently struggled in the league, losing two away games in Ligue 1 following the resumption of the regular season after the World Cup. They will be hoping to get back on track and stay in pace with the top of the table.
