Cristiano Ronaldo finally got his first official goal for Al Nassr in a 2-2 draw against Al Fateh in the Saudi Pro League. The Portuguese forward scored a 93rd-minute penalty to rescue a point for his team.
Ronaldo had been searching for his first goal after making his debut with Al Nassr, having previously only scored in a friendly match representing Riyadh XI. In the game against Al Fateh, the home team dominated early on and took the lead in the 12th minute.
But Al Nassr equalized through Talisca in the 42nd minute, before Al Fateh went ahead again in the second half. Ronaldo missed a great chance to score, but redeemed himself with the late penalty.
With 15 games played, Al Nassr tops the league standings with 34 points and a match in hand, level with second-placed Al Shabab. Their next game is against Al Wedha.
