Cristiano Ronaldo has gained more than 15 million new followers on Instagram in the last 30 days, while Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe have seen their numbers drop. Ronaldo, who is currently the most followed person on Instagram with 564 million fans, continues to soar in popularity despite playing for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia. However, he didn’t top the charts for gaining the most followers on Instagram in the last month, as Selena Gomez took that accolade. Nevertheless, Ronaldo’s worldwide appeal remains undeniable.

On the other hand, Messi’s Instagram followers have decreased by over 570,000 in the last 30 days, likely due to his underwhelming performance with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and the uncertainty surrounding his future in France. Currently, Messi’s total followers on the social media platform stand at 443 million.

Mbappe, Messi’s PSG teammate, has also experienced a dip in followers, losing over 250,000 fans, bringing his total number to 101 million. However, as Mbappe strives to establish himself as the next big name in football after Messi and Ronaldo, his popularity is expected to soar in the years to come.

While Ronaldo’s brand continues to grow, his rivals Messi and Mbappe face challenges on and off the pitch that have contributed to a decline in their Instagram following. Despite this, the world of football remains captivated by these star players and their every move, both on and off the pitch.
