Bernardo Silva is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for the Premier League club Manchester City and the Portugal national team. He was born on August 10, 1994, in Lisbon, Portugal.

Silva began his professional career at the Portuguese club Benfica, where he won three Primeira Liga titles and reached the UEFA Europa League final in 2013. In 2015, he joined the French club Monaco, where he played a key role in the team’s Ligue 1 title-winning campaign in 2016-17.

In 2017, Silva moved to Manchester City for a reported fee of €50 million, where he has since become an important player in the team. He has won multiple domestic titles with Manchester City, including four Premier League titles, two FA Cups, and two League Cups.

Silva is also an important player for the Portugal national team, having represented his country at various youth levels before making his senior debut in 2016. He was part of the Portugal team that won the UEFA European Championship in 2016 and the UEFA Nations League in 2019.
