The match was put beyond doubt in the 90th minute, when Joao Palhinha scored Portugal’s sixth and final goal of the match.

Overall, it was a dominant performance from the Portuguese side, who looked comfortable throughout the match. Liechtenstein struggled to create chances and were unable to break down the Portuguese defense. With this win, Portugal continued their unbeaten run in the qualifying campaign, and they will be hoping to carry this form into the European Championship next year
